Happy 5th Anniversary Ryūsei no Rockman!

Well, I almost forgot, but today it's the 5th anniversary of Ryūsei no Rockman (Megaman Starforce in English). The first game was released in Japan on December 14th, 2006. The Ryūsei series is the successor of the Rockman.EXE series. The first game comes in 3 versions: Pegasus, Dragon and Leo, named to the 3 satellites that connect the Transers. Ryūsei 2 has 2 versions: Berserk x Shinobi (Zerker x Ninja in English) and Berserk x Dinosaur (Zerker x Saurian in English). The 3rd and final game comes also in 2 versions: Black Ace and Red Joker.


It's set about 200 years after the ending of the EXE series. People live in a world where everything is electronic and everything works with EM-Waves. They can make everything of EM-Waves, even things like food and such. The whole story is about Hoshikawa Subaru (Geo Stelar in English). Subaru (remember, in Japan the last name comes first.) is a boy whose father was lost in space. He is always sitting on a hill next to his school to look upon the stars.

One day when Subaru's sitting out there again he meets War-Rock (nicknamed 'Rock' in Japanese, Omega-Xis and nicknamed 'Mega' in English), an FM-ian from the planet FM. Before Subaru could ask anything a train which wasn't supposed to moved began to move. Rock explained how to defeat the EM viruses in the train. They just had to merge by doing 'Denpa Henkan'(EM Wave Change in English). Combined they form Rockman, they can then attack any EM being. To attack they use Battle Cards. On those Battle Cards there are weapons and other attacks one can use when he has a Wave Transer, which is also required to Denpa Henkan. A transer is a sort of computer which one carries on his arm. It can do many things such as battling EM viruses and calling friends.

Subaru and Rock continue to fight EM viruses and other beings dangerous to the world. A bit later in the game Subaru and Rock find out that the king of planet FM wants to destroy the Earth. They fight other FM-ians to ultimately fight Andromeda, the ultimate war-engine built by the FM king Cepheus. Rockman destroys Andromeda and saves the world.
